BIM

BIM, one of the most exciting developments in the construction industry, is changing the way projects are built. This emerging process requires new mindsets and technological processes to move the industry forward. This program, developed in conjunction with leading BIM practitioners, technology firms and educators, is designed to successfully educate construction professionals at all experience levels on a range of topics they would encounter implementing and using a BIM.  (more)

To give AGC members a competitive edge, The San Antonio Chapter offers the Building Information Modeling Education Program (www.agc.org/CM-BIM). For AEC professionals, the AGC Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge and understanding of concepts related to BIM adoption, practice and process transformation outlined in the AGC BIM Education Program. Successful candidates will carry the CM-BIM designation.

Exam Information: The AGC CM-BIM Candidate Guide provides policies and procedures related to the exam.

Eligibility requirements: CM-BIM candidates must successfully complete the four AGC BIM Education Program courses, provide AGC with record of completion and have approved application in advance of exam administration.
