The San Antonio area’s unemployment rate in March reached a low not seen since the dot-com bubble days of the late 1990s.

The rate ticked down to 3.1 percent from 3.3 percent in February, according to data released by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas on Friday. The last time it was that low was in August 1999.

The region’s 20-year low is 2.9 percent, reached in March and May of 1999. Read more….
