About Us

SAN ANTONIO AGC CHAPTER
Founded in 1923, the San Antonio Chapter of Associated General Contractors of America represents over 280 member firms across 19 South Texas counties. Our members have helped build the region’s essential infrastructure — from schools and hospitals to military facilities and commercial spaces.
In 2023, San Antonio AGC celebrated its 100th anniversary of service to the commercial construction community. We look forward to serving our members for another century!
As the voice of the industry, our mission is to continuously advance commercial construction - empowering members through education, networking, and advocacy to meet the needs of our community.
When you become a member of San Antonio AGC, you also gain membership to the Texas Building Branch (TBB), who works on our behalf at the state capital and hosts the prestigious Outstanding Construction Awards. Additionally, you also become a member of AGC of America, which operates in partnership with its chapters to provide a full range of services. AGC was established in 1918 after a request from President Woodrow Wilson, recognizing the construction industry’s national importance.
